Obituary of Laurin Kahn

Laurin Kahn, 82, of Maplewood died on Aug. 6, 2007, in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Friday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. Interment is private. Born in Bangor, Pa., Mr. Kahn lived in Maplewood for 40 years. He was a distributor of pharmaceutical supplies for Anabolic Labs in California for many years before retiring. He was a Army staff sergeant during World War II, serving with the 506th Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, in the Normandy, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. He was an avid golfer.
Mr. Kahn was the dear friend of Margie P. Cordes and loving brother of Barbara Janusz and her husband, Emil.
