Obituary of Roberta T. Faig

Roberta T. Faig, (Bobbie) formerly of Maplewood, passed away on May 16, 2018. Visitation will be held at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Wednesday, May 24 from 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 10:00 AM at Morrow Memorial Methodist Church, 600 Ridgewood Road, Maplewood. Mrs Faig was born in Irvington, NJ and resided in Maplewood for most of her life. She was an advertising executive and office manager for Tennis Week Magazine in New York, where she worked for 29 years. Her job was her passion and she knew and remembered everyone in the industry. Her work took her to Moscow nine times for the Kremlin Cup, a career highlight. She retired in 2007. She enjoyed bridge and tennis and was a lifelong member of The Maplewood Little Club. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert, and her sister, Myrna Nelowitz. She is survived by her sons Steven and wife Arceil (San Francisco, CA), Charles (Chuck) and wife Janet (Gillette, NJ), John and wife Kristin (Bethesda, MD) and the grandchildren that she adored Kelly (Chicago), Alicia (NYC), Lindsey (NYC), Brian (Cincinnati, OH), and Jennifer (Washington, DC).
