Obituary of Victoria T. Nolin

Victoria Toteff Nolin, longtime resident of Scarsdale, N.Y., member of the Scarsdale Community Baptist Church and nine-year resident of Maplewood, died after a brief illness. A memorial service is planned at Winchester Gardens, 333 Elmwood Ave., Maplewood, on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood.
Born in 1912, Mrs. Nolin was a gifted musician, pianist and singer. She studied at Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She performed as a classical vocal and piano soloist and accompanied other singers on piano. A gifted vocal coach and transposer, she performed and provided musical direction in community theatre in Westchester County.
She was married for 66 years to Joseph Henry Nolin, a partner at L K H & H and at Horwath and Horwath. She was predeceased by her husband and by her son, Bruce Nolin. She is survived by her daughters, Katia Marsted and her husband, Garry Marsted, Sarah Nolin, Marta Nolin and her husband, Bill Clark; her daughterin-law, Regina Masterson Nolin, as well as 10 special grandchildren and 10 beautiful greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the New Jersey Symphony.
