William H. Taylor, M.D., 82, of Harmons Cove in Secaucus, died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 S. Orange Ave., South Orange, on Monday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Orange. Born in Orange, Dr. Taylor lived in Short Hills before moving to Secaucus. A medical doctor and internist from 1955 to 2007, Dr. Taylor maintained a medical practice in South Orange since 1980, and was affiliated with Orange Memorial Hospital for many years. He graduated from Wooster Prep in Connecticut, Colgate University, pre med, in 1949, and Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1953. Dr. Taylor served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II.
He was the beloved father of Randolph Taylor, Cynthia Kusilek and Stacy Leigh Taylor; dear brother of Jane Gretter, Harry Bud Taylor and Sally Benson; loving grandfather of Kimberly Katherine Schultz and Christine A. Taylor; great-grandfather of Alexis M. Schultz, and longtime friend of Peggy Kondrowski.
