Obituary of Paul A. Ruschmann

Paul A. Ruschmann, 88, of Union died on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at South Mountain Rehab Center, Vaux Hall. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Quakertown, Pa., Mr. Ruschmann lived in Union for 56 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a staff sergeant from 1942 until 1945, and was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. He owned Easton Auto Salvage, Easton, Pa., a salvage yard, from 1953 until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of St. Josephs Church, Maplewood, and VFW Post 10120, Maplewood.
Mr. Ruschmann was the beloved husband of Vivian Corbett Ruschmann; devoted father of Paul and James Ruschmann and Jeanne Buchanan, and dear brother of Mildred Osborne and Harold Ruschmann. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
