Obituary of Calvin C. Cralle

Calvin C. Cralle, 84, of South Orange died on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in South Hill, Va., Mr. Cralle lived in South Orange for 40 years. He was a sky cap at Newark Airport from 1955 to 2000 when he retired. He was a graduate of Hampton University in Virginia in 1950 was a B.A. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, South Orange. Mr. Cralle was the beloved husband of Arline McManus Cralle; devoted father of the late Keith B. Cralle; dear son-in-law of Callie West; also survived by a host of dear relatives and friends.
