We share the loss of a friend and find comfort that her suffering ceased on Good Friday. She took up her cross and walked with Jesus. We feel she is with Him now.

I want to express my sympathy to the family. I knew Nancy from Redeemer and Winni. She loved it when I took her grocery shopping or out to eat. I left New Haven over 2 years ago - but still felt fond of Nancy and was sorry the hear when she was no longer able to live alone in her house. She was always carrying her tote bag with pictures of her family.
Blessing,
Chaplain Cathyann Plumer

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the Selmont and Miller families. I was a classmate of Nancy's at Wilbur Cross in New Haven, CT. She was on my committee for our last two reunions and in her limited capacity due to her stroke she was very helpful and thoughtful.

We treasured our time with Nancy, first knowing her and Rudy at Winni and then welcoming her to the Church of the Redeemer. Her interest in and helping others made her a joy to be with and I will remember her always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of Nancy. Although we were not related, we always felt like family and through my late mother Carmel's life-long friendship with "Aunt" Margaret, we shared many of the joys and sorrows of our respective families.
We now share your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy's family. I have many happy memories of working with Nancy and Rudy on an ecumenical relocation of a Vietnamese refugee family and of trying to help one of Nancy's elderly neighbors through FISH of Greater New Haven. Later Nancy and I became classmates at Southern. She and Rudy even came to my surprise 60th birthday party!
She and Rudy made a difference in people's lives.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Nancy's family. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Nancy at Brighton Gardens when she was a resident there.
I was sad to see her leave Brighton Gardens, because she always had interesting stories to tell and she often spoke very highly of her family and friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nancy was amazing in so many ways: her zest for life, her love of people, her fascination with creative ideas. She and Rudy were always finding interesting things to do and places to visit that were budget friendly. We love doing many of these Nancy-inspired activities to this day. Finally, she was deeply grateful for each little gift, each kindness that came her way. She is still with us in thought and she will be until the end of our days!

Nancy was a classmate of my husband Joseph and I. Living in Hamden in close proximity, I would sometimes pick up Nancy for our class reunion meetings. I always enjoyed her company and her outlook on life was an inspiration to me.
Our condolences to Nancy's family. She will be greatly missed.
