Obituary of Adelyn Kafka

Adelyn Kafka, died peacefully on March 28, 2008, after 97 years of life filled with love, devotion and service to others.
Adelyn (nee Skodinski), extraordinary woman and homemaker, was born on November 17, 1910 in Antigo, Wisconsin. She and husband Eugene, long-time residents of Arlington and Great Falls, Virginia, were married for over sixty years before Gene's death in 1989. They had two children, Marion and Allen. She was a long-time parishioner at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Vienna.
She is survived by daughter Marion Charvat of Short Hills, NJ, grandchildren: Darby, David, Douglas, Eric, Kathy and Scott and also many great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 1 pm at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, VA. Donations in lieu of flowers can be directed to Our Lady of Good Counsel 8601 Wolftrap Road, Vienna, VA 22182
