Everytime I hear the sound of a banjo I think of you playing the sounds of music that made you happy. Im sure if there is a Bluegrass Festival in heaven, you'll be there. Ill miss you. Linda

Gene...I was introduced to you on your 18th birthday. We became great friends. You taught me my only Russian word, Snek, meaning snow, advised me to take a State job (I'm still here)and we gave each other liberal advice about Life. You were my son, David's Godfather and I was the "Best Man" at your wedding (even though I'm a woman). You had a dear and special sweetness along with many shadows that followed you and I hope with all my heart that you now have the peace that seemed to escape you in Life. Goodbye, dear friend. Franny Guarino

Memories. Gene I wish I had one more time to spend with you. You loved the baseball and sports and the fun in life, plus that Shenandoah Music - Bluegrass - but in New Jersey.

Had some good times at a bluegrass concert, at a wine festival and vacationing on the outer banks. It is sad that our youth slips away from us. Rest well, Eugene
