Dorothy Riley Haley, 87, of Lancaster, Pa., died on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Moravian Manor, Lititz, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Monday, July 14, at 10 a.m. Interment is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. Born in Salem, Mass., Mrs. Haley lived in Short Hills before moving to Lancaster, Pa., 33 years ago. She served as a field advisor for the Girl Scouts of the United States of America and was a former member of the faculty at Upsala College, East Orange. A graduate of Simmons College, Boston, she served for many years as a loaned executive for the United Way. She was also president of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, from 1965 to 1966.
Mrs. Haley was the beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Haley, and dear sister of Edward J. Riley of Marblehead, Mass. She is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
