...the last of 11. .... well they saved the best for the last. Fond rememberences...black and whites, bowling, ping pong, cross word puzzles, fruit salads, holidays on Rutgers Street, the best meals, care packages to the academy from the bakery, gift envelops that were too generous, her spirit, her love of family, the way she saw her brother Alec in me, her smile, her attitude, it is just impossible to say her name without a smile, she was a giver not a taker, we loved her because she loved us all so much. My big brother Al and Mary Kay will represent our family at services as my four children, two grandchildren and one son in law gather under our roof in southern CA this weekend. We will be there in spirit with all of you in Maplewood and will be telling Aunt Molly stories all weekend in Rancho Santa Fe.
The last time she was with us in CA well into her 90's I found her on the floor of our livig room floor. Fearing the worst, I rushed to see if she were ok. Aunt Molly was fine.... she was on the floor cleaning up some juice she had spilled. Some things never change and thank goodness she was who she was.
