Obituary of Dominick F. Santorelli

Dominick F. Santorelli, 87, of Maplewood died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 8:30 p.m. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday at 7 p.m. until the time of service. A self-employed building contractor, Mr. Santorelli operated Santorelli Builders, originally loca ted in Newark, from the late 1940s until retiring in the early 1990s. A veteran of World War II, he served with the Army from 1942 to 1943. Beloved life partner of Judy Walsh, he was the devoted father of Paul and his wife, Carmen and Dominick Santorelli and his partner, Kate Rafferty; loving stepfather of Michael Walsh and his wife, Tina, and Susan Crossman and her husband, Danny; grandfather of Dominick Rafferty-Santorelli, Gina, Paul, Vincent and Christopher Santorelli, Meghan and Madelyn Walsh, Kyle and Kaylie Crossman; dear brother of Carmellina Santorelli Moretti.
