Albert G. Muller, 83, of Union died on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County, Berkeley Heights. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 9:15 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in New York, N.Y., Mr. Muller lived in Union for 56 years. He was a tool and mechanical designer for the Cozzoli Machine Co., Plainfield, from 1983 to 1992. He also worked at the Singer Co. in Livingston from 1947 to 1975 and the Wagner Co. in Whippany from 1975 to 1983. An Army veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, he served in the European Theater and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Muller was the beloved husband of Estelle Devine Muller; devoted father of Albert J. Muller, Mary Beth Puschak and Timothy J. Muller; loving grandfather of Melissa and Jennifer Puschak. In lieu of flowers, donations to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Foundation Rahway, 865 Stone St., Rahway, N.J. 07065 would be appreciated.
