Obituary of Callie B. West

Mrs. Callie B. West, 93, of Orange died July 24, 2009, at home. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and a funeral service is on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange. Mrs. West was born in Henderson, N.C., and lived in Orange for 50 years. She was a laborer for Western Electric, Kearny, from 1934 to 1984, when she retired. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon B. West and dear grandmother of the late Keith Cralle. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted daughter, Arline Cralle, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
