I had the good fortune of working under Ms. Ollie for 7 years at Harriet Tubman School. She was an excellent administrator, as well as a very kind person. She leaves a wonderful legacy and her passing is a significant loss to many. My condolences to the family.

David, Ms.Ollie was my principal at Harriet Tubman School but more importantly she was like my second mom and a grandmother to my two sons. We loved and love her with all our hearts. There will never be another Ms.Ollie (or Mom, like I called her). She was a Saint and I know that she is an Angel in Heaven now looking down smiling. I miss her so very much. I was a student at Harriet Tubman during the time Ms. Ollie was vice president. Attending that school allowed me to have a great foundation just because I had great admnistrators like Ms. Ollie guiding me along the way. After graduating from Harriet Tubman, I attended Kent Place School, an all girls prep school in Summit then went off to the University of Maryland College Park. I currently work in TV and I can definitely say that my preparation at Harriet Tubman paved the way for my successes as an adult. Ms. Ollie will truly be missed
