Rita M. Schaefer, 89 of Maplewood passed away at St. Barnabas Hospital surrounded by family on May 20, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange on Friday May 25th at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-four years Bernard R. Schaefer, her devoted children Eleanor Russomanno, Catherine Gannon and Patricia Fahy; their husbands Amato, Paul, and Thomas; and her loving grandchildren Caroline, Rebecca, Kathleen, Connor, Amanda, Brian and Kevin.
