Janice Trojakowski Hansbury, 88, of Short Hills died on Sept. 5, 2010, at Little Nursing Home, Montclair. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. The family will be receiving friends at the Jacob A. Born in Newark, Janice resided in Short Hills for 50 years. A homemaker, she was a past member of of St. Rose of Lima's Ladies Auxiliary, Short Hills, and a past member of T.W.I.G. Club No. 24 of Overlook Hospital. Janice served with the WAVES for the U.S. Navy, stationed in San Diego as a pharmacist mate 3rd class during World War II. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Hansbury and the late John D. Lucey, and the loving mother of Christine Dunn, Thomas M. Hansbury, Patricia A. Wahl, and Barbara J. Hansbury. She is also survived by six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Millburn-Short Hills First Aid Squad, 188 Glen Ave., Millburn, N.J. 07041, would be appreciated.
