Agnes G. Bork (nee Wagner), 93, a longtime resident of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Whiting Health Care Center, Whiting, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Newark, N.J., Mrs. Bork was a crossing guard and matron for the Maplewood Police Department for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, and a past member of St. Joseph's Rosary Society, the Troop 5 Maplewood Boy Scouts Ladies Auxiliary, and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was very active in the Hilton Association, and a charter member of the Maplewood Rescue Squad. Agnes was the beloved wife of the late of Harold C. Bork. She was the devoted mother of Georgette O'Cone, Joan Bork, Harold C. Bork Jr. and his wife, Irene; and loving grandmother of Tracey, Nicholas, Jillian Rachel, Jill Ann, Michelle, Crystal and Peter. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Church would be appreciated.
