Professor Kirchhoff was one of my Professors at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I graduated with an MBA in December 1978 and returned to Nigeria. I remember his thoroughness and eye for detail. May his soul rest in peace.

Bruce, you have left us too soon! I can still see us looking up at Lake Louise in Calgary in 1988, after the Babson conference. I will always remeber your scholarship and your lifelong pursuit of small business dynamics. You were truly a pioneer, and like most pioneers, impossible to duplicate and replace. Your kindness and generosity as a colleague, boss,mentor, co-author, and family friend will never be forgotten. I can still see Becca and Samantha playing on Beech Drive off Connecticut Ave. Rest in peace, my buddy!
