Obituary of James A. Tighe

James A. Tighe, 78 of Millburn passed away on October 6, 2018 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, on Thur, Oct 11th at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Assoc, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 would be appreciated. James was a lifelong resident of Millburn. He served in the US Army 24th Division during the Vietnam War. He worked in the traffic bureau for the Millburn Police Dept. for many years. James was a former longtime usher for St. Rose of Lima Church. He was predeceased by his sisters Jane Olesen and Virginia Fleming, his brothers John R. and Gerald Tighe and son Henry Clarke.  He is survived by his wife JoAnne Hatman Tighe, children Audrey and Anthony Clarke, his siblings W. Paul Tighe, Charles L. Tighe, Ann Blazier, Timothy and Brian Tighe and ten grandchildren.
