Obituary of Catherine Spohn

Catherine Spohn (nee Gargas), 74 of Union passed away at Ocean Medical Center, Brick on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Sat, Oct 20th at 10:30 AM. Catherine was born in Irvington and lived in Springfield and then Union. Catherine worked for many years for the Springfield Board of Education most recently as a teacher aid. She was a member of NJ Teachers Association. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Spohn and her brother George Gargas. She is survived by her devoted children Cynthia McGuire (Dennis) and Philip Spohn (Sara) and her granddaughter Seraphina Spohn.
