Obituary of Bernice Connolly

Bernice Connolly,97 of Short Hills passed away peacefully at The Little Nursing Home in Montclair on Saturday Dec. 22, 2018.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday Dec. 27 at 11AM at The Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange. Interment Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. 

Bernice was born in Newark and lived for sixty five years in Short Hills. She worked for several years as a secretary in the Insurance Industry. She was a poll worker on election day in Short Hills and a volunteer with the Red Cross in the 1950’s. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Connolly. She is survived by close family friend Msgr. Neil Mahoney and a group of close friends from Short Hills.
