Obituary of Annabeth Rose Ebert

Please share a memory of Annabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Annabeth Rose Ebert, 6, of Maplewood gently passed away surrounded by family on Sunday December 30, 2018. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday Jan. 5th at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange. Interment is private. She is survived by her beloved parents Justin and Elisabeth (Dooley) Ebert, her brother Jack, sister Audrey, and loving grandmothers Jacqueline Dooley and Paula Ebert.

Annabeth was a bright and joyful light to her entire family. Her sweet and indomitable spirit filled their home with love and hope. And her gentle demeanor taught them compassion, kindness and empathy.

During her sweet life, Anna (Banana to her friends) was constantly surrounded by an amazing group of caretakers and nurses. These incredible women loved her as one of their own, and always made sure she had plenty of cuddles and hugs. The Ebert family is forever in their debt for their love and support.

Anna will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Her life enriched the lives of everyone she touched. And while they are heartbroken to see her go, they are so grateful for being given the gift of knowing her, caring for her and loving her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements by Preston Funeral Home, South Orange, New Jersey.
