Margaret J. Anderson (nee Marcantonio), 87, formerly of New Providence, N.J., and Millburn, N.J., passed away on Feb. 9, 2019 in Princeton, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, N.J., on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11:15 a.m. Interment is in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. Visitation will be held at the The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Thursday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. only.
Margaret was born and raised in Millburn and then lived in New Providence for 38 years before moving to Princeton. She was a seamstress and homemaker and had a great passion for baking.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nils A. Anderson Jr.; brothers, Rocco and Anthony Marcantonio, and her grandson, Michael J. Anderson. She is survived by her children, Nils A. Anderson III (Carolyn), Maria Anderson, Nancy Gottlieb (Ira), Susan Anderson, and grandchildren, David and Nils James Anderson, Lauren, Jason, Matthew, and Samantha Gottlieb.
