Jose Cecilio  Martinez M.D., 74 of South Orange passed away at St. Barnabas Hospital on April 26, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange on Friday, May 3rd   at 10:30 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Dr. Martinez was born Bogota, Colombia and has lived in South Orange for the past 30 years. He was a medical doctor at East Orange Veterans Hospital for 6 years. Previously he worked in the Psychiatry Dept. at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, NY

Jose was the dear brother of Alejandro Martinez, loving companion of Amira Rodriquez and dear friend of Luis and Norma Arnez.
