Obituary of Vincent J. Nardone
Vincent J. Nardone, 56, of Hopatcong formerly of Union and Maplewood, died suddenly on September 12, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Wed, Sept 18th at 10:30 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Tuesday, 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to gofundme would be appreciated. Vince was born in Newark and was raised in Maplewood, he then lived in Union before moving to Hopatcong 11 years ago. He received his associate degree at Union County College and most recently was attending Centenary College in Hackettstown pursing a business management degree. Employed in the transportation and logistics field inspired by his beloved father's long career at Harrington and his love for spending joyous moments on the job with his dad. He was currently driving a truck for Capital Paving, formerly, Tri-County, Willow Grove. He worked as a manager for ACT/Overnight logistics after a magnificent six years of driving the big road in his Peterbilt tractor trailer for Anty Trucking and Rigging, which he adored. He worked for 20 years as an electrical technician for Bowe, Bell & Howell, after running his own successful business, Superior Towing in Maplewood for seven years. He enjoyed traveling, motor cycle riding, swimming, tennis, good food, milk shakes and was absolutely devoted to family. Vince was truly exceptional at coaching his children's recreational basketball, softball and baseball teams and he was a life-long Mets fan. He will be best remembered for being incredibly clever and his true gift for making people laugh.
Vincent was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Rose Nardone and his sister Eugenia Felt. He is survived by his fiancé, Laura Milway Hyde, children Joseph, Hunter and John, brother Leo Nardone (Patricia) nephews Paul Felt (Jackie) and Leo Nardone, niece Kristen Nardone (Aaron), grandnephews Ryan and Jake and many aunts, uncles and cousins
