Obituary of Thomas J. Gildea

Thomas James Gildea of Maplewood, NJ, age 81, died on November 14, 2019. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sunday, Nov 17th  from 2:00-6:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St. South Orange, on Monday November 18th at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Mr. Gildea lived in Maplewood most of his adult life. He was a Human Resources Executive for ITT Corp. in New Jersey, New York City, and Stamford Connecticut.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years Margaret (nee O’Connor); children, Eric Gildea (Beth), Christine Mulreed, Shannon Schiavino (Gary); grandchildren, Samantha Mulreed, James Mulreed, Seamus Gildea and Kate Schiavino; step-child and step grandchildren, Matthew Webb, Matthew Webb Jr. and Tyler Gonzalez.
