Primary School football champions and VIS six-a-side champions! These are my favourite memories with Dhelon, playing football together every day at school on the infamous 'green court'. We turned out to be decent players and managed to win some trophies. We will forever be known as the 'soccer boys'. You know who you are. I am sure Dhelon wouldn't have had it any other way.

With Dhelon getting ready to watch a live soccer match in New Jersey and visiting the Empire State Building (around 2009). Dhelon absolutely adored the game, as his big smile in the picture shows. He was so kind to me during my visit to America, showing me around and taking me to all the landmarks in NYC. Memories I will cherish forever.

With Dhelon (around 2009) having a kick about in Central Park, New York City. I could never dribble past him; too strong and quick. The only way I could defend against him was to try make him laugh. Knowing Dhelon and his love for humour, this was quite easy to do!

I grew up with Dhelon through all of school in Vienna from 1991 through to 2003. We were only one grade apart and he was best friends with my brother, Gareth. Dhelon was a massive character, always smiling and joking and I had the joy of playing with him in numerous football teams, our biggest success being the U-16 champions of all Vienna. I fondly remember how he was so quick, his main problem in football was sometimes forgetting to take the ball with him! I will sorely miss Dhelon and his endless wit, charm and jokes, and I am so sorry to his sister, mum, dad and the rest of his family for their loss. I hope they take comfort in knowing what an amazing son they raised, and how many people he made happy. I'll miss you immeasurably, old friend. Rest easy. Craig
