Obituary of June N. O´Dell

June Naomi O'Dell of Madison passed away on Thursday, April, 9, 2020, at the age of 86.

A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, she valued her family above all else.

She was raised in Irvington, New Jersey and graduated from Irvington high School, where she was the first female manager of a track team in the state of New Jersey.  After graduation, she worked in the office of the Forstner Claim Company in Irvington, New Jersey.

In 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, and together they enjoyed many happy years filled with simple pleasures like trips to the diner and car rides to enjoy nature.  She loved taking care of her family and her home, and embraced the role of grandmother.

June was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sr.  She is survived by her son, Robert Jr. and his wife, Emily, her daughter, Mary Jane Switek and her husband, Edward, her three grandchildren, Thomas O'Dell and his wife, Carolyn, Katie O'Dell, Sarah Switek, and her great-granddaughter, Madeline O'Dell.

Funeral services will be private with arrangement by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
