Obituary of Doris Cort

Doris Weber Cort, 88, passed away at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, PA. on May 13, 2017. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Grace Lutheran Church, 2222 Vauxhall Road, Union, NJ on Sat, May 20th at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours at the church from 10:00 -11:00AM. Interment Private. Arrangement by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. Born in Queens, NY, on July 20, 1928, Doris was a graduate of Irvington High School. After high school she graduated from the Paine Hall School in NY as a Medical Assistant, and has lived in Maplewood for the past 60 years. She was an office manager for Associates in Internal Medicine in South Orange from 1969 to the mid 1990s. Doris was a member of the Maplewood Garden Club and the Embroiderers' Guild of America, and had a life long love of music, gardening, and most things involving needle and thread. She was predeceased by her husband Robert N. Cort Jr. She is survived by her sons; Robert N. Cort III and his wife Sheila Evans and Jeffrey C. Cort and his wife Elizabeth, beloved grandsons Jeffrey C. Jr. and Christian S. Cort.
