Margaret E. “Peggy” Schultz (nee Glevy), 85, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from complications of Covid-19 virus at Winchester Gardens in Maplewood, N.J.

She was the beloved wife of forty-eight years of her late husband William Schultz, Jr. She was the devoted mother to William Schultz, III and his wife Lisa of Summit, NJ and Thomas Schultz and his wife Joan of Chatham, NJ. She was blessed by three grandchildren, William Schultz, IV (his wife Ali), Kristine Schultz Cannata (her husband Ralph), and Kathryn Schultz. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Patricia Glevy, Mary Jane Delaney, Veronica Adams, her sister-in-law Nancy McCormick, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Her brother Daniel Glevy predeceased her.

She was born and raised in East Orange, NJ. She attended St. Rose of Lima Church in Newark and graduated from East Orange High School.  She later moved to Maplewood where she raised her family. While in Maplewood she was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and School. In 1995, she moved full-time to Barnegat Light, NJ on Long Beach Island and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi parish there. 

She showed unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving, gentle and kind person who made everyone feel truly loved and treasured. She was an amazing listener who enjoyed hearing from her family about their latest activities. She was creative and enjoyed painting, needlework, and sewing. She loved reading and watching movies. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment and activity with them.  

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on a future date when the current funeral restrictions are lifted. Private Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
