Mrs. Barnes was one of those people whom you just felt better in her presence. She didn’t even need to say a word ... You simply felt better near her. She possessed an inner stillness that was palpable.
Yet, then, when she did speak, her voice was like that of an angel’s, her smile made your day and the twinkle in her eyes, unforgettable.
Although l was merely a child the last time l saw Mrs. Barnes, l surely will never forget the way she made me feel. Even then, it was clear to me she was unlike most people. Mrs. Barnes was extraordinary—Her heart was huge, she was generous and kind and her presence, l found to be calming, comforting and soothing.
Her recent passing is surely a massive loss for her son, Fred, his family and her sister, Doris.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your enormous loss. May Frances rest in peace as she sits at The Throne of The Lord. God has reclaimed his special daughter and Heaven has their angel back. The world has lost a truly special person and we are all at a loss with her passing.
My heart and prayers are with you Freddy. Your dearly loved mom is at peace now with your Dad and may you be comforted knowing the beautiful life she lived and the wonderful memories you’ve shared.
