Obituary of Rosemary Hopkins McGuire

Rosemary Hopkins McGuire, 103, of Maplewood, NJ, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Born and raised in Newark, Rosemary had been a Maplewood resident for over 40 years.  She was a payroll supervisor for Engelhard Industries in Newark. She was a longtime volunteer for the American Heart Association in Millburn and a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Maplewood.

She was the wife of the late Thomas McGuire and the sister of the late Paul Hopkins (wife Marie) and Edward Hopkins (wife Mary). She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Barnabas Hospice, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039.
