David Hayes Sprague, 96 passed away on May 12, 2020.  He was born Port Washington, NY and was a 60-year resident of Maplewood, NJ.

David was husband to the late Elizabeth van Houten Sprague. Father of Lawrence, Gordon and his wife, Sharon and Susan (MacGregor) and her husband, Tracy. Loving Grandads of Samuel, Graham, his wife Lindsay and their daughter, Evelyn. Charlotte and her fiancée Brad Zapenas, Ethan, Lily, Duncan, Isaac and Emily.  

David was a member of the Class of 1949 of the US Naval Academy. Former Chairman and Chairman Emeritus of the Maplewood Committee for Servicemen and Servicewomen. Internment at the US Naval Academy Cemetery following a military service in Annapolis, MD will be held at a later date.
