Wendy Luck posted a condolence

I am so sorry to find out that dear, grace-filled Margaret Anzul passed in 2020. She was one of the most generous, kind, knowledgeable people I have ever met. Thanks to her impeccable wisdom and gentle guidance, she mentored me through the writing of my doctoral dissertation in a way I will never ever forget. I am heartbroken that we lost touch over the last few years, but I have thought of her so often. And now, in looking her up to reach out, I am stricken with grief to discover she has passed. My gratitude is boundless for you, Margaret. You were a precious life preserver for me over a most difficult time in my life. I treasured your work with me beyond words, and even more importantly a friendship that was pure gold. May you be resting in deep peace and joy, surrounded by those you love and cherish. My love and gratitude to you will exist forever. Much love, Wendy Luck

I am so grateful for the years I got to spend with Mimi. I will forever cherish the experiences Jack and I had thanks to her, such as going to the United Nations and our many trips to the MET. Her kindness, generosity, and intelligence amazed me and she will be deeply missed. Love you, Mimi.

I was fortunate to work with Margaret as both a colleague and parent. She was so kindly and she had the warmest smile.

Dr Margaret Anzul was part of our Kings Road School Madison NJ family for many years. The Shearman Family were part of her aura from 1987- 2006. Our four children and I were influenced by her love of reading, openness to learning and her ability to bring out the best in each person through her individual attentiveness. Most recently our paths crossed again when the Anzul family sold their family home in Madison NJ. I enjoyed working with her to find her new home where her entire family gathered together in her later years. I am sure this brought her much joy!

Mrs./Dr. Anzul had such an impact on my life. She fostered a lifelong love of reading, expanding my world with book recommendations and wonderful conversations about beloved authors and characters. Her brilliance, wisdom and endless curiosity inspired so many of us to keep learning, and to open our minds and hearts to other cultures and experiences. The Kelly family in Madison misses her dearly - we were so lucky to have had her in our lives.
