Obituary of Richard L. Edmund

Richard L. Edmund, 66 of Wall Township formerly of Maplewood passed away at Ocean Community Hospital on June 9, 2020. Due to current restrictions regarding the pandemic, funeral home attendance is limited to fifty people. Therefore, close family and friends may visit with the family at the The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sunday, June 14th from  4:00 – 5:00 PM. A private funeral service will be celebrated on Monday followed by interment at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. Richard was born in Orange and lived in Maplewood for many years before moving to Wall Township. He worked for Verizon in the building and maintenance department for over 30 years. Richard loved  fishing,  going on vacation and spending time with his family and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents   William P. Edmund Jr. and Evelyn Pfaff Edmund and his brother Andrew A. Edmund. He is survived by his siblings  William P. Edmund III, Denise A. Christensen, Diane C. Adams, Margaret A. Lynch, Donna M. Edmund and  Robert S. Edmund, 12 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society NJ, 7 Ridgedale Ave, Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905  would be appreciated.
