I would like to wish John's entire family my heart felt sympathy.
I worked with John for nearly 9 years and communicated with him almost daily. He was always very kind, polite and helpful when I needed his technical expertise. He always respectfully called me Ms. Brenda. It has been hard to accept his passing, he and all the techs have become my extended family. He knew if he needed to talk, his second Mom was here for him.
There are some people that leave a real impression on those they come in contact with, that was John. I, as everyone, will miss his smile and good nature...RIP my friend and know that we all cared for you as much as you cared for all of us.
Sincerely,
Brenda Harris

I met John through my husband Nick and wanted to write a few words of my own as well. To say that he will be missed is an understatement. To those that knew him, John was so very kind, sweet and extremely intelligent. We went to a lot of trivia nights over the years and it was clear that he was well read and knew so much about everything. Nick and I loved going to the updown with him when he was in town. He introduced me to one of his all time favorite games "Crystal Castle". I hope that in heaven, you're playing crystal castle to your hearts delight. Over many drinks and dinners, I really got to know John as a person and how great he was. He loved a good meal, especially pho and a good beer.
It is so sad to have to write about him in the past tense as he was so full of life and had so much promise for greater things ahead.
We will truly miss you John. You were one of a kind. My deepest sympathies to his family. You're in our thoughts and hearts.
Lisa

John Rouis .... Where to start.
He was the Brother that I never had... "My brother from another mother" he would say to me.
Last time we saw each other we headed up to "Updown" his favorite place in MN.
I could never imagine that the last dinner and beer at our place would be the last time we see him.
We have been colleagues for 13 years but most of all he has been my brother for 17 years.
He is the kindest, smartest, funniest and easiest going person I know.
Brother we will miss you and one day see you again...
My deepest sympathies to his daughter Sabrina (which John loved and spoke of all the time) and wife Elvila.
May you rest in peace my friend...

I wanted to pay my respects to John but due to current restrictions, I cannot be there. John was my Friend for a long time, I have known him for over 29 years and I will miss him very much. John always put a smile on things, he had that way about him, anyone that got the chance to know him learned quickly that he was sincere and had a heart of gold.
Maricela (Mrs. Mari) as John would call her was lucky enough to meet John at her earlier career with NBS, she would refer to him as "John John".
The picture attached is just a simple example of the smile he would always have when we were able to spend time together.
I will miss you my friend, I hope you are at peace.
My sincerest sympathy to Elvila, Sabrina and Family

John was an amazing co-worker and friend. John would always make time to help anyone who needed his expertise to solve problems. Although I only met John in person a few times, we talked almost every week, sharing information to solve the problems at work. I have never seen John angry, he was always calm and cool and never panicked no matter how crazy things got. I will always remember John as a very likeable person and someone that you could always rely on.
One of my best memories of John was when I met him in Thailand after not seeing him for many years. As soon as John saw me, he greeted me warmly and gave me a big hug. I will always remember John as that warm, kind, soul.
My deepest condolences to John's family and friends.

I remember meeting John at the office in Paramus when he seemed to be just a young kid (though he must have been in his thirties at the time). He was helping me with some work related problems and sharing stories of being mugged in Spain. He was always fun to talk to, kind, conscientious, and helpful. It's hard to believe he is gone.
He will be missed by all of us.
My deepest sympathy to your family,
Sincerely,
Cathy Burand
