I met Bill while sitting in or playing with the band at the Parkwood Diner on Monday nights.
What a joy it was to trade stories of both our lives with Bill.
What a wonderful guy and a beautiful spirit.
I will miss his smiling face on those special Monday nights.

Although a sad time, we were lucky to have our Dad for so long, He was a true treasure, and just loved life. He was just a few months short of being 104....It was a pretty remarkable life, full of so many incredible stories and family history to look back on. He always instilled in us, his love for his faith and church, love of Country, and the amazing love for his Family. He loved watching it grow, with grandchildren; and then great grandchildren. It seemed his life stayed very busy, up until the last few months, attending Family Weddings, Family Baptisms, and Family Birthday parties....He loved them all, and was always such a part of it. One birthday party, he saw a trampolene, and mentioned how he never went on one before, and would like to give it a try. Another Birthday for my Dad, he decided at about 95, he might just be interested in trying out his grandson's Segway, just because he had never done it before. Yet another party, he saw a Go Kart in our backyard, and decided to take a 'rip' down Main Street. I was worried he would not find the brake, but it all ended up good. Yup, he enjoyed it all. We will miss Christmas at his house, and the Annual 4th of July Parties....which seemed to get bigger year after year. We will miss him greatly, but he left us with countless treasured memories. Cheers to the best Dad a girl could have.
With Much Love, Marilyn (Hildebrand) & Kenny Maas.
