Bernie was my inspiration both at the PCAC and the Connection. What a gentleman! All our condolences to his family. He spoke of the wonderful care he received from them. Now What am I going to do on March 19th when I would call wish him Happy Birthday?. God Bless you Bernie.

It was my pleasure to have known Bernie. He was a charter member of the PCAC and a hardcore water volleyball player.
Pete Cross and I valued him as an avid class participant and a friend.
My sympathies go out to the family.

I met Bernie more than 15 years ago at the Connection. For all those years we were swimming buddies sharing the same lane, he even taught me to swim the crawl stroke.
He was a dear friend and a gentleman and I will miss our friendly chats.
Ann and I send our condolences.

I met Bernie about eight or so years ago when I joined the Connection in Summit. He was quite a charmer. When we get back to the facility we will miss the splash he made when he jumped in the pool, and then ducked under water, keeping us guessing where he was going to emerge. And most of all we will miss the cannolis he brought in to celebrate his birthday every year. Rest in peace, Bernie. My deepest condolences to the family.

I first met Bernie about 20 years ago at the Connection in Summit where we were members of the senior swimming community. Bernie was everyone's favorite because of his easygoing, friendly personality. He was jovial and optimistic, always ready to share a joke or an anecdote. His motto was live and let live; I never heard him saying anything bad about anybody. He was a true gentleman and he will be greatly missed by our group.
