Condolences to Emil´s entire family. Emil was one of my dad´s best friends, growing up in Millburn and raising families nearby. As time passed and life took us all in new directions, and since my dad passed almost 20 years ago, our families have lost touch. But we haven´t lost the fond memories. Hopefully Emil and Henry have found each other and can enjoy the NY Giants once again.

So sorry to hear about Emils passing. He was a great friend and neighbor. Many fond memories of Monday night football, eating, and drinking on Wyoming Avenue with the family. May he rest in peace.

We lost one of the great ones this week. Emil Falla was loved by many, adored his extended families and always had a story to share with you. His zest for life was infectious! I'm so happy we were able to have our last shared birthday lunch with Stuart from Kobricks Coffee in Hoboken on June 9th. I will always think of Emil when I'm having a cup of La Tacita in the morning. With much love and prayers, until we meet again.

Eymil, good by, I'll follow you soon, regads to Nittie. I'll say the mass in half an hour for your intention. The first time I met you, you were a soldier in the US Army in Puerto San José. You took us for lunch in the Army dining room and we ate all the food of the other soldiers, who were not many. The last in Princeton at María's. You monopolized the converstion with all your family stories. Have a good trip. You'll see GOD. Or you have already seen him? Does he have any resemblance with what you've been told? Grüss Gott, as your mother said. Ricardo, your cousin in Guatemala

Don Emilio was among the last of that ‘Greatest Generation’ that lived through extraordinary times in our world. He saw so much and always had a smile, along with a great story from his own rich history. He was truly one of a kind and he left this world a better place. God bless you Emil

So very sad of the passing of a fabulous man who touched so many people. Emil was married to my sister Virginia when i and my twin brother were in our late teens. He was a fantastic role model and friend who introduced us so many new and wonderful areas of life not offered to us before. Evenings with Emil and Jinny at Toots Shore,The Stork Club, Bills Gay Nineties, vacations and so many great places in NYC & NJ that were fabulous. He gave us employment at Kiinny System in the heart of Manhattan where he was an Ex VP and where we got our drivers licenses and learned to drive backwards in lots all over NYC for 5 years while still attending school. His hearty laugh was infectious and his smile was always big. He will be missed. BW

I was in a hospital in New Orlenas, after hearth surgery, suddenly Emil appears.
He deviated from his way to see me. It was a moment I will never forget.
