Alicia Pilgrim was and still is my best friend from the 9th grade. I grew up as a teenager in Mrs. Pilgrims home, she was the very first Trinidadian I ever met. Right away she made feel like it was my home, couldn’t understand a word of her English lol. slowly but surely I had become one of her adopted children, eating her delicious foods, her homemade bread.. she was like a mother to me, so sweet. My condolences to the whole family, to god we belong and to god we return. May she Rest In Peace, Love Sahar Attiyah

Sincere condolences to Alicia and the rest of the family. Pearl was like a big sister to me. We went on many trips and excursions together. She was very easy to get along with and a great roommate. She was very proud of her children , grandchildren, and great grandchildren and spoke often about them. She was admired for being an impeccable dresser. A kind gentle soul has left us. Rest in Peace Pearl. I will miss you. Your namesake Pearl
