I just learned of the passing of James F. Caffrey III. My sincerest sympathy to the family. My great Grandfather Bernard F. Caffrey was the embalmer for the family business until his early passing in the early 20th century.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Caffrey's passing. My mother's side of the family - TIGHE and CARLIN's - go back the the very beginning with the Caffrey's from when they had their first Funeral Home at 44 Pennsylvania Ave in Newark in the mid to late 1800's and then again when they moved to 71 Pennsylvania Ave. All of my TIGHE-CARLIN relatives were buried from Caffrey's - including my mother Helen Irene Tighe-Spohn in 1965 and my father Julius H. Spohn in 1976. May he Rest In Peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. There are no words to describe the pain of loosing a loved one. God , however wants to help us cope with the pain and left these words registered in the book of Revelation 21:4 , " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I'm sorry for the loss of your family member; please accept my sincere condolences. I hope you will find your strength and comfort in Jesus promises of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will have to mourn the loss of a loved one ever again.
