Mrs. Chin was my 2nd grade teacher at the Jefferson School in 1976. I remember her and her class vividly. She made the best iced tea. She was the teacher who taught us about holidays and the pledge of allegiance. I distinctly remember her small reading groups and her many holiday celebrations. Teachers like Mrs. Chin are few and far between. May we all be so lucky as to have teachers like her and may her memory be a blessing.
