Mannnnn this is hard!!! I just knew I would see her the next time I came back to the states. I am so glad I was able to share a part of my life with her. I will miss hearing her stores of being in the Navy and her experiences. You are truly missed Ms. Linda. Big hugs to those she left behind from Japan!! Mom, where do I begin? You gave me life, you raised me the best you could. You protected us, you fought for us. Wherever I moved to, you made it your favorite vacation destination; Phoenix, Brussels, Ghana, and finally Richmond. We're so blessed to have had you a part of our family. You loved us fiercely. You made the kids feel equally special and always made a point to show up for them. You loved the Navy to your core, you followed the rules, and taught us, through your actions, kindness and acceptance. Whenever we see blueberries we'll think of you. We will miss you so much. I know I've got another angel next to grandma watching over me. I love you. Samer, Maria and Lucas love you.

So lucky that Linda welcome me and my boys when we moved from Puerto Rico to Guilderland 29 years ago and always treated us as family. I will miss her stories, her shinning blue eyes, her beautiful big smile and her Hello Vanessa every time we meet. You will always be remember with so much love and joy.
