To Carol and family- I can't tell you how much I enjoyed spending painting time with Al. We had some good laughs and shared stories. I have been missing him since he stopped coming and will continue to think of him often when I am in my studio.
Love to all the family- especially to Karen who has become a real friend.

Albert, my dearest friend, you were of a kind-the kind this world needs more than ever. Losing you has affected me in a most profound way. I will always cherish your friendship. I am most proud of the fact that you referred to me as, "My friend, Vito".
May God bless you with eternal peace. Goodbye, my friend.

To Al's wife Carol, family and friends my deepest sympathy. God has taken one of our great citizens. Al was my dear friend for 65 years since our first meeting in 1952 at Notre Dame. I loved him like a brother and love his family. I will miss him dearly but take solace in knowing he is in a better place. God bless his family.

To the family of Albert Parillo
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. Sincerely,
Roberta

I write this with a heavy heart. Al Parillo was one of the most decent, caring an inspiring people who I have ever known. He has taught me a great deal about life, and is largely responsible for helping me to make the transition from immaturity to adulthood. I will always love and be grateful to him and his family. GODSPEED
