Obituary of Mary Rigby-Abernathy

Mary Rigby- Abernathy passed away peacefully on December 6, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert M. Abernathy, sisters, Paula Abrams and Ellen Levinson. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Snowden Rigby and Ruth Sussman. Mary was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on December 23, 1947. She worked at Economic Development for the New Community Corporation in Newark, NJ. Mary resided in Maplewood NJ since 1980. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, NJ, on Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30 pm. Interment will be private. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 - 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Rose of Lima Church, 11 Gray Street, Newark NJ, 07107 would be appreciated.
