Obituary of Joseph G. Borowski

Joseph G. Borowski of Maplewood died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday, Feb. 2, at 10:45 a.m. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Born on July 13, 1961, Joe was a graduate of Columbia High School and Temple University, where he graduated cum laude. "Joe B" was loved by all who knew him. Quick with a joke, Joe B loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was proud to have attained the distinction of "bartender of the year" at the Union Knights of Columbus. Joe was a captain in the PA National Guard and in the 78th Divsion. Joe leaves his brother, John of Union and his wife, Jane; his brother, James of Lavallette and his wife, Andrea; his nephew, John Francis and his wife, Shannon and their children, Natalie and Shane; his nephew, James; his nieces Christine Wyatt and her husband, Scott, and his nieces, Karen and Kayleigh.
