Edward Thomas Kelley II Edward Thomas Kelley II, 72, of Scotch Plains died on April 9, 2010, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, after a short illness. Mr. Kelley (Ted) was the associate dean of the Scotch Plains campus of the UMDNJ - School of Health-Related Professions. Prior to UMDNJ, he held positions at Union County College and Rutgers University. Mr. Kelley was a graduate of Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass., and Rutgers University, N.J. He was the son of the late Edward and Winifred (Taffe) Kelley of Lawrence, Mass. Mr. Kelley is survived by a son, Todd, of New Jersey; a son, Michael and his wife, Tate, of Oregon; sisters, Clare Grant and Ruth Trepanier of New Hampshire; brothers, Richard and Robert of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Wednesday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will also be held at St. Patrick's Church, 118 S. Broadway, Lawrence, Mass., on Friday, April 16, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, Mass.
