Obituary of Margaret M. Fiore

Margaret M. Fiore, 90, a lifelong resident of South Orange, N.J., suddenly passed away on Saturday 19, 2013 at University Hospital, Newark, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Friday, Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment is in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Margaret retired as an Office Manager for South Orange Construction, Inc., and previously worked as an Officer Manager for Permanent Pavements for 35 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, the South Orange Lions Club, the South Orange Chamber of Commerce, the Giblin Association of Essex County, and the South Orange Seniors. She was a recipient for the South Orange Lions Club "Woman of the Year" and inducted into the Essex County Democratic Party Hall of Fame. She was also a past leader of South Orange District Number 4 and Vice Chairman for the South Orange Democratic Committee. Margaret was the beloved daughter of Sabino and Philomena Fiore. She was the dear sister of Albert Fiore, Gloria Lyons, Jean Gailey, and the late, Christine DiTullio, Joseph Fiore, Mary Colineri, William Fiore, Carmela Quadrel and Sam Fiore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and -nephews.
