To The Foligno Family, My deepest sympathies for your loss. I worked with Jimmy for many years at SOPD and shared lots of good times and laughs. He is now with many other good officers from our department, hopefully riding his motorcycle in heaven above. Sincerely.

My Uncle Jimmy was a great man. He was always so kind to me and I loved visiting with him. He had a lot of wisdom and told many great stories from his youth. I learned a lot from him.
I love you Uncle Jimmy.
Your niece,

Uncle Jim was one of my favorite uncles and was truly a unique character. I really enjoyed the times I spent with him. He was humorous, genuine, and would do anything to help someone he cared about. I will miss him.
Rest in peace Uncle Jim.

James Foligno, Sr.- Uncle Jimmy to me, first and foremost , he was my friend.
I knew him my whole life.
We spent hours together at the gun club, hunting and loading shotgun & ballistic rounds.
We traded wine and barbs. He made white wine, we made red. His wine was always good, but ours from time to time would be sour. When it was, he would say to me, “Don't worry kid, I can use it to remove the soap residue on my tub”.
We became even closer when I married his niece, Theresa Cozzini in 1978.
My wife Theresa and I would love to go over to spend a couple of hours with Aunt Josie & Uncle Jimmy.
If there is such a thing as a “gift of laughter”, then a visit with them is something I wish I could bestow upon everyone.
Having Aunt Josie & Uncle Jimmy go back and forth between each other on this subject or that, was something priceless. No comedian could ever write material as genuine, improvised and spontaneously funny as that.
“Hey Kid”… Questa è la vita.
We love you Uncle Jim.
